Herbs are an integral part of Chinese Medicine, having been used alongside Acupuncture in China for centuries. A properly qualified herbalist will make a detailed diagnosis, write a prescription which is personal for that patient, and then order the herbs in granule form. We have our own extensive pharmacy at the clinic, so Linda mixes the appropriate granules for each individual patient. She alters the formula as needed during the course of treatment. Safety is of prime importance, so only RCHM Approved Suppliers who pass rigorous scrutiny are used. All animal, mineral or endangered plant products are excluded. Acupuncture patients, who opt to take herbs, only need to pay the additional cost of the herbal prescription, since the same diagnosis applies to both. Adverse reactions are very rare.
